Beth’s Bakehouse

Beth’s Bakehouse was a new brand focused on customer experience, for use across consumer events where the location permitted. It was created to address a growing need for a quality cafe inside our consumer events. In most large venues the food outlets are either just outside the exhibition hall, or otherwise to one side, drawing people away from the exhibition itself. Beth’s Bakehouse was a new catering hub located at the centre of the event, with the exhibitors positioned all around it.

I designed the logo (below) and the signage panels (single panel shown at bottom of page), which could be viewed from anywhere within the exhibition hall. There were a range of different sized panels made to suit the catering at different venues. We also had various extra panels made displaying a variety of tasty treats.

We promoted Beth’s Bakehouse in the event preview magazines, and it was highly successful. With specialty cakes, quality tea and barista coffee, Beth’s Bakehouse helped keep visitors within the event for longer. For visitors returning to our events, we began to achieve brand recognition, of what had previously been a generic product.
